Ipe Decking (Brazilian Walnut)(pronounced EE-pay) is an extremely dense and tightly grained wood. IPE decking is a deep rich brown with red and amber hues. Ipe is over 6 times harder than Western Red Cedar. Ipe has one of the highest ratings for insect resistance and decay resistance.
